Strategy for Effective Communication

Business owners tend to have ways of communicating their market. But most owners (mostly startups) fall victim of wrong communication leading to the death of their business (market). Today we would look at ways to efficiently communicate with our
customer to yield a successful business even as a startup business owner. 

1. Know Your Audience: Who your customer is;
    Understand who you are communicating with
    * Exactly who
    * Age
    * Sex
    * Locations
know your customer's problem and know how to solve it. Example: You manufacture shaving sticks, you would know that you are targeting people who have reached their puberty stage (Age: 18-65+) both male and female in specific locations.

2. Engage: Engage with your target audience  from the very beginning such as asking questions as what sort of improvement they would love on your product/services, answer questions thoughtfully as all this would go a long way in engaging your audience.

3. Build Ownership: Decision makers should be involved from the start.

4. Make it Easy: Don't make things boring for your audience rather condense data into your convincing story line, short result story, a newsletter or five minute video. Make sure you know about the project and make sure they know baseline result.

5. Investors, Donors and Policy Makers should be involved throughout the process.

Large communication strategies cost money but there are a number of ways to get your message across in a relatively inexpensive ways.

   * LinkedIn

   * Instagram and so on.

Using social media serves as a quick and effective way to keep your audience informed.
